The trans-national project RURALEARN, Regional Association for Rural Development in collaboration with 18-Ardre volunteers from 9 different countries (Georgia, Armenia, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany) launched the initiative "Smile for tomorrow to develop social responsibility among traders but also the citizens in general in the county. The initiative runs from December 10 to 23, 2009, in Miami area and is addressed by 10 communities from the county (Godinesti, Lele?ti, Polovragi Amaradia Rosia, Hurezani, Tismana Musetesti Motru, Rovinari and Balteni) where already identified a substantial number of families with social problems. Ardre activities that intend to develop include: tightening of clothing, food, financial aid and other useful materials. Within this social campaigns have already distributed packages of toys, clothes and sweets for 53 families in the city through primary school nr3 Rovinari Rovinari, all these products are donated by families in Germany. RURALEARN project - is an EVS project aimed at raising accountability of local authorities and encouraging youth participation in community life. The project has a considerable size and complexity, involving 14 NGOs and 18 young volunteers from the Caucasus and the European Union. The project is run in Romania, Gorj, in a period of six months from 15 August 2009 until February 15, 2010, the period that includes the stages of preparation, performance of volunteer work and project evaluation and reporting.
