EXCELLENCE IN LOCAL GOVERNMENT

The aim of this area of expertise is to develop the capacity of Local Public Administration (LPA) in order to improve public service performance. A collaborative culture will be developed in the local public administration to assist with fostering joint efforts throughout the community to develop local strategic plans. This effort will be emphasized in the period between 2007-2013.

The objective of improving sustainable public administration at the local and county level will be achieved through supporting, elaborating, implementating and monitoring European policies.

These programs may include: Peer Exchange Program, Peer Support, Job Shadowing, News Exchange, Citizen Participation Assessments and Data Collection.
