ABOUT EURO HOUSE The Strategic Partnership for Local Active Citizenship includes devlopment of the Euro House network throughout Gorj county, which provides expertise to increase citizen participation and capacity of communities to administer areawide projects. Euro Houses will utilize EVS volunteers to help with these programs. Seminars and training will be offered using a "cluster" concept to several nearby communities in a central location, in order maximize effectiveness and reduce travel and training expenses. ARDR will coordinate the establishment of Euro House centers in several Gorj county communities during the next year. These centers will network with each other to provide training and citizen workshops on many topics. Euro House facilities represent a joint effort between the local government, the school, residents of all ages, EVS volunteers, and ARDR staff.
