Social campaign "Smile for tomorrow" 1-10 July 2009 - Targu Jiu

Certainly the largest project of the volunteers was that the fundraising campaign called "A smile for tomorrow". Its purpose was to help poor rural families, families that volunteers have come to know. The campaign was a success. The volunteer managed to raise a lot of money, food and nonfood products. The was also a learning exercise for volunteers.

A.C.T.Y.V.E. Sports - 17-18 June 2009 - Musetesti

9 Nations, 6 communities, a village!
Regional Association along with 14 volunteers organized a football championship in Musetesti school.
6 teams from 6 communities where volunteers volunteer, have come to this event!
Over 70 children aged between 13 and 16 years from Rovinari, Bustucin, HUREZANI, Bumbesti Jiu Novaci and Musetesti, teachers and spectators came. A full day game and were eventually Jiu Bumbesti team was happy winning.
It was not just a football tournament, was also an intercultural exchange between volunteers and players.

The evening was a great dinner and a camp fire with all the teams who also spent a night in Musetesti primary school.

It was an amazing experience, not just for players but also for volunteers!

"Take care of yourself, take care of nature" - June 8, 2009 - Musetesti

The start of the action was a success, even categorized by the Environmental Protection Agency director, Gheorghe Fometescu, which claimed the following, "Thank you for this initiative ARDR established in partnership with Musetesti General School and MUSETESTI City Hall, taking the necessary awareness of students about Selective recycling (ie plastic, paper, glass and aluminum cans, each in different bags), cited the fact that the more selective recycling is made more responsibly the more they could recover waste collected from the campaign to a collection center in Targu-Jiu. "

Europe's Day and more - 9 May, 2009 - Targu Jiu

For the 9th of May the volunteers made a mobile info centre in the centre of Targu Jiu. The aim of the activity was to inform the youths of Targu Jiu about the triple semnification of 9th of May: Europe's Day, the proclamation of Independence of Romania and the end of WWII.
